Tommy brings over 25 years of experience to the role gained from his background spanning the Energy industry; including working with EPCs, end users, national and international companies (“NOCs and IOCs”) in multiple geographies across the world.  He has taken on roles with progressive leadership responsibility throughout his experiences with GE and Baker Hughes, most recently serving as Vice President for Baker Hughes’ Oilfield Services business leading the Russia-Caspian region.

Following a competitive tender, Peli Products (UK) Ltd have secured a four-year contract to supply the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service with right angled torches.

Every fire fighter in Scotland and all new recruits will be issued with a Peli™ 3415Z0 right angled torch, totalling 7500 units with a contract value over four years  in excess of £400,000.  The process included a comprehensive tender proposal and robust evaluation of the winning product.  The successful agreement means Peli Products (UK) Ltd will supply the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service with these rugged and dependable torches, certified for use hazardous areas.

Enerpac announces a new 100-ton capacity hydraulic Sync Grip Puller for the safe and controlled removal of bearings, bushing, gears and pins from shafts during vehicle and machinery maintenance. 

As with all pullers in the Sync Grip line, the new 100-Ton SGH100 model features simple, synchronous movement. The sync grip mechanism synchronises movement of all jaws for simultaneous engagement, enhancing the operator’s control over the tool and simplifying set-up. Hydraulic puller jaws fit around the part to be removed, while the spindle applies up to 100 tons of force to remove it. Hydraulically applied pulling force increases pulling capacity and reduces operator fatigue, enabling quicker and easier operation.
