From the unique journey I have followed, I have been fortunate to meet many great people and learn much from them, and to meet many hard challenges, conquering each and learn much from them.  Along that path I've had opportunities to learn, grow, and excel in a wide variety of areas surrounding electronic product development in oil & gas and in aerospace, particularly where the challenges included hazardous areas.

I am a problem-solving consultant who drives to results; a mentor, servant-leader who works to a high standard of integrity, with varying experience from circuit design to project management, with solid understanding of electrical safety (particularly haz/loc) & EMC standards, IPC standards, their applicability, and certification & compliance to them, and a familiarity with Mil standards, API standards, USCG and ABS standards.

Also a subject matter expert for cabling & cable assembly design, and for plastics & insulation materials. 

4 Square Engineering Consultancy Limited is a specialist engineering consultancy, formed in 2003 and founded on over two decades of experience in safety engineering and improvement of safety in the workplace.
We enjoy providing a wide range of specialist consultancy services dedicated to and often tailored specifically to client requirements. We provide DSEAR compliance assessments, functional safety assessments (SIL, LOPA, FTA), process hazard analysis (HAZOP, HAZID, Bowtie). We also provide machinery safety / PUWER risk assessments and can complete technical construction files in association with CE / UKCA compliance assessments.
We are active in many industrial sectors such as petrochemical, food and beverage, agriculture, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, defence, utilities, water treatment, power generation, mineral extraction, semi-conductor manufacture and aerosol manufacture.

EPIT Group provides specialist training and assessment services, which are fully accredited by City & Guilds and CompEx, for engineers and technicians working in hazardous and industrial areas in accordance with the current national and international standards.

EPIT have training facilities in the UK, Oman and Trinidad all of which have lecture rooms and hands-on practical areas that are stocked with a wide variety of Ex demonstration modules.

We have an extensive working relationships with many of the leading operating and service companies worldwide and have carried out training of their personnel in our custom built facilities, to date we have trained, assessed and certificated over 20,000 personnel.

EPIT offer consultancy services that include hazardous area zone classification, risk assessments and verification of equipment and installations in hazardous areas.

Additionally, we offer a range of standard and bespoke E-Learning courses for a number of Ex related topics, accessible remotely through our easy-to-use learning management systems (LMS).
