sept-15-m-17A+A: Maximum load support with the new safety harness from Capital Safety

Capital Safety, the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of height safety and fall protection equipment, will for the first time be presenting the most comfortable, lightest-wearing, truly innovative safety harness ever created at the A+A Work Safety trade fair in Düsseldorf. (Read More)

Amongst many new features this harness will offer for the first time leading innovator Capital Safety’s LIFTECHTM load distribution system. This literally takes the weight off the workers shoulders and redistributes it down to the hips which is around the centre of anyone’s gravity. The result: the weight is redirected to an area of the body which is better suited to carry it.

Another highlight includes live demonstrations with the Flexiguard EMU mobile anchorage device (En:795 clB). At almost 8 metres high and 2m offset, the device allows users to work safely and securely on small and moderate height structure requiring an overhead fall safety connection. The great advantage of the device is that it can be flexibly brought to any of the working structures using a forklift truck or pallet truck, making expensive, permanently installed overhead systems on every structure unnecessary.

Capital Safety will also present a comprehensive premium range of tool drop prevention equipment for the first time in Germany. Just a few months ago, the company acquired the US firm Python Safety to strengthen its competence in this area. Capital Safety will also present various training and rescue scenarios on a demonstration tower, for example from the ground or from a platform and demonstrate its equipment for work and rescue in confined spaces.

Capital Safety can be found at A+A in Hall 06 / D05. The company will be supported at the trade fair by 3M for the first time (Hall 06 / E27). The multi-technology group recently announced the acquisition of Capital Safety, as both companies complement each other ideally in the area of work safety. Capital Safety will double its stand space compared to the previous year and exhibit its products across two levels.
