Where there is a need to maintain a temperature critical to specific industrial processes then Thermocable, a Yorkshire company with more than 45 years’ experience, offers two unique solutions.
Both provide integrated fault tolerance and constant monitoring, coupled with simple installation and maintenance, constantly monitoring the integrity of both primary and secondary circuits. Both can be connected to offer a remote monitoring function to provide an even more comprehensive package.

ProMinder Advanced is a combined heating and monitoring system. Thermocable manufactures a range of eight colour coded cables to protect pipe work between five metres and 150 metres in length.
There are two heating circuits within one cable so if the primary heating circuit fails the system automatically switches over to the secondary circuit.
The system controller allows the heat output to be selected during installation with options of 10W/m, 15W/m and 20W/m within the power range of 100w – 3000W. An automatic turbo heat function provides rapid heat and a power boost in extreme cold environments and the technology is patent pending.
ProMinder Standard is a monitoring control unit that can be used with existing heating cables. Not only can it monitor fixed wattage trace heating cables but it has the unique capability of providing monitored thermal protection for self regulating trace heating cables.
Whilst this technology does not offer the options of heat output selection or a turbo heat boost it still provides 24/7 monitoring of up to two heating cables. It can monitor fixed wattage cables between the ranges of 20W and 3000W and self regulating heating cables between 20W and 2000W.
