Flexibility for each installation
Available in virtually any combination of up to 37 contacts in a single housing, crimp-fit DECONTACTOR™ plugs and sockets are now offered on MARECHAL’s compact and watertight DSN connectors as well as the industrial-grade DS 37C and ATEX series. These provide fast crimp-fit connection for virtually any application rated at 10A, 25A, 30A and up to 415V/500V.
A wide range of options means that specifying engineers can use the inherent flexibility and compactness of the DECONTACTOR™ to exactly match the mechanical and electrical parameters of each installation in the smallest possible space.

Each DECONTACTOR™ features MARECHAL’s patented technology which ensures safe disconnection with a single press of the quick-release button. This button activates an internal load-break switch which disconnects and isolates the power in a single action, while the cable is under load.
The speed and simplicity of connecting and disconnecting DECONTACTOR™ enhances safety by providing operators with visible isolation as soon as the socket release latch is pressed upon. A conditional short-circuit rating of up to 100kA, withstand and close-on, also provides additional peace of mind for operators and for the specifying engineer.

Replacing hard-wired connections with the DECONTACTOR™’s simple, quick-release button also helps to reduce operating costs. With their safe and easy one-touch operation, DECONTACTOR™ eliminate the cost and time of waiting for a qualified engineer to disconnect and reconnect equipment for cleaning, routine maintenance or repair. This can significantly reduce the turn-round time and cost of servicing and cleaning equipment as well as reducing downtime for repairs.
Long-term reliability
Robust housings and silver butt contacts mean that MARECHAL DECONTACTOR™ are able to resist corrosion and vibrations resulting in excellent long-term electrical performance and high endurance of over 2000 mating cycles. All crimp-fit DECONTACTOR™ offer automatic IP sealing to IP66/IP67 immediately on connection and disconnection and provide resistance to shock rated at IK08 with the poly casing, or IK09 with the metal casing.
This high level of robustness means that DECONTACTOR™ are already used extensively in applications such as food and drinks processing, shipping, chemical and heavy industries, water treatment plants and the oil and gas industry.
