KERMEL, a leading provider of textile solutions made out its aramid fibers, has launched the KERMEL X-FLASH®.

The KERMEL X-FLASH® is a resilient fabric that was developed to provide the ultimate protection for safety clothing needed to protect workers from flash fire and electric arc flash hazards. KERMEL XFLASH
® fabric is made with the Kermel® (Read More) inherently flame resistant fibers, making the FR properties permanent and impossible to wash or wear out.
The KERMEL X-FLASH® exceeds NFPA 70E, HRC 2 and NFPA 2112 standards. The fabric is soft and is a lightweight 6.1 oz fabric providing exceptional breathability and moisture management. In addition it meets the CSA Z96-09 bright orange background material requirements and because Kermel® fiber is produced solution dyed the fabric colour will always remain bright even after being exposed to sunlight and industrial laundry.
 The KERMEL X-FLASH® has excellent resistance to chemicals, thus keeping the fabric in great shape and the worker visible for the life of the garment.
When KERMEL was developing the KERMEL X-FLASH®, not only protection and comfort but durability also took top priority. Taber testing using the “Rotary Platform, Double-Head Method” in accordance with the ASTM D3884 standard was done at the Group CTT laboratory to test the abrasion resistance of the KERMEL X-FLASH® in comparison to the competitor products, the results came back overwhelmingly positive as the KERMEL X-FLASH® exceeded 1,300 cycles making it four times as durable as other advertised inherent products.
