Innovative and comfortable! Arc Flash PPE specialists launch new jacket and trousers

New two-tone garments feature increased hi-visibility areas

Garments are manufactured from inherent arc-resistant and FR fabrics, to en-sure greater protection, comfort and breathability

ProGARM, specialist manufacturers of Arc Flash protective clothing, has launched a number of garments throughout 2020 despite COVID-19. Their latest products include a new jacket and also mens and womens trousers, all with a host of useful and innovative features.

These new two-tone navy and hi-vis yellow garments feature increased hi-visibility areas to achieve a higher level of Arc Flash certification – a feature which is more important than ever in the darker, winter months.

All garments have been manufactured using inherent arc-resistant and FR fabrics, to give greater protection, comfort, and breathability for operatives.

The new 5805 arc jacket also includes a mandarin collar for maximum neck protection, adjustable wrist and waist tabs to provide a snugger fit.

The jacket also contains multiple pockets for extra, secure storage – including two chest bellows pockets with flaps, and side access pockets with ThermSAFETM zips.

Both trousers (5810, 5815) come with external kneepad pockets, while additional pockets and flaps have also been added for safe storage while on the job, meaning workers can store their phones and valuables safely.

Commenting on the launch of the new garments, Mark Lant, technical expert at ProGARM said: “As part of our ongoing commitment to safety and industry innovation, we’re continually updating our product range to produce quality PPE that gives workers the best possible protection as well as allowing them to do their jobs comfortably.

“These new garments are designed to do exactly that – providing workers in various at-risk industries with not only the level of protection they require but also the comfort, warmth and higher visibility they need during the colder, darker months.”
