HUMMEL Presents Another Model For The EXIOS Range
The EXIOS A2F is an innovative cable gland for Ex application. As all models from the EXIOS range, it has a special outer profile, which allows it – in connection with the well-known HUMMEL clamping-finger system – to tighten the cable gland with only a few movements of the hand.
This already saves time during installation as the open-ended wrench or spanner is only required for the final “turn”. (Read More) Due to the very large clamping range, the entire cable diameter range can be covered with only a few sizes. This not only makes procurement managers and warehouse keepers happy but developers as well.
HUMMEL is also innovative with respect to certifications. It already complies with regulations according to the latest EN and IEC standards and ensures the appropriate Explosion protection.

The EXIOS A2F has been certified for the explosion protection type Ex-e and Ex-d as well as for the new dust Ex area Ex-ta. This makes the EXIOS A2F the universal cable gland for Ex applications.
Further features as e.g. the already included Equipment Protection Level (EPL) marking, the engraved clamping range, IP 66,67 and 68 (5bar), the high temperature range from -60 to +105 degrees Celsius and standard silicone seals define once again the high requirements that HUMMEL places on itself.
