Eaton launches explosion-protected LED escape sign luminaires for Zone 2 and 22 hazardous areas

The new explosion protected series of escape sign luminaires EXIT 2 are available in four versions:
EXIT 2 mains luminaire;
EXIT 2 24V for 24V DC power supply;
EXIT 2 CG-S as an individually monitored safety and escape sign luminaire with CG-S monitoring module for use in a CEAG central battery system with single monitoring. The system monitors the function of the light fitting and started automatically frequently function and duration tests.
EXIT 2 N with self-contained battery system and automatic function monitoring and operating time test. With a rated emergency lighting cycle of three hours it is especially suited for use in peripheral installations and smaller applications.
The ATEX compliant EXIT 2 escape sign luminaires with polycarbonate enclosure are robust and rugged (IP66 protection rating). Illumination is provided by high output white LEDs. The escape sign luminaires are suitable for installation as wall-mounted light fittings in harsh or hazardous environments, including offshore and onshore oil & gas installations, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and petrochemical industrial plants.
