Despite its compact design and low weight, Chemical 2F is characterized by outstanding durability, chemical resistance and increased ingress protection. The thought-out design with smooth surface allows easy decontamination by shower or even full immersion.
The unique automatic closing system prevents unwanted contamination while the filters are being changed. The smart Flow Control system maintains the airflow constant regardless filter clogging or low battery charge. The audiovisual alarm indicates when the battery charge and/or filter replacement is required. The airflow is individually adjustable from 120 liters per minute up to 235 liters per minute.
The Chemical 2F Ex unit has a black conductive plastic body, it comes with a special ATEX conductive belt and the lithium-Ion battery is fixed with a screw to prevent battery change in ATEX areas. The battery has an operating time of up to 10 hours (tested at 160 lpm with new P3 filters and a fully charged battery) and the battery is charged in less than 3 hours. The system can be used with CleanAIR P3, combined class 1 and combined class 2 filters. The compact design and low weight of less than a kilogram make it a pleasant for the user to wear. The user can change the language in in the settings and set a timer to notify him when filter change is necessary. The full colour display clearly shows all the relevant information, the airflow which can be set from 120 till 235 liter per minute, the battery charge and filter clogging. The unique patented automatic closing system of the valves in the filter openings prevents unwanted contamination while the filters are being changed.
