Most oscilloscopes are hampered by analog triggering and associated jitter. Lockheed Martin is making an impact at the squad level with it's SMSS unmanned ground vehicle, which will alleviate much of the burden troops struggle with when transporting hundreds of pounds of gear across harsh terrain. The SMSS will be sent to Afghanistan for a three-month Military Utility Assessment (MUA) later this year, making it the largest autonomous vehicle ever deployed with U.S. infantry.
