A rare opportunity – to learn from the organisations at the leading edges of the development of the Hydrogen sector – their research, technology, projects, products, services and routes for investment.
The Hydrogen Conference takes place for the first time on September 9 2025 at a University venue in the Midlands in the UK. Full details are being finalised. Following the Conference, the highly regarded international Hydrogen Awards will be presented at a black-tie Awards dinner on the evening of September 16th
Presentations from organizations at the cutting or leading edge of building a hydrogen economy, together with networking opportunities, mean that The Hydrogen Conference will deliver content that shouldn’t be missed.
And, of course, the big question will also be under discussion...
“How to Build a Hydrogen Economy?”
The mix of expert presentation, case studies (including input from end users), animated discussion between audience and stage, coupled with great networking in a great venue on a campus that has a leading reputation in R&D on Hydrogen and a reputation for excellent food and service, will make for a compelling, vibrant conference.
Why hold the Conference? And why focus on building a hydrogen economy?
Since launching four years ago, the one question repeatedly asked about the Hydrogen Awards’ winners is why one company won, rather than any other finalists in a category, and what was it that made their entry special. The Hydrogen Conference will hear from the front line about what organizations did to achieve their Hydrogen Awards’ glory – and there will be evidence of groundbreaking genius at work.
• What differentiated the Winners from the other finalists?
• What made their Hydrogen offering stand out?
• What has happened to their organization since?
• What plans do the winners have to develop their Hydrogen projects next?
• What have they learned in the process, and what will they do differently next?
The Hydrogen Conference should not be missed!
Delegates at will hear from leading companies in the Hydrogen sector and from Universities and their partners:
• What does it take to achieve best practice and how do partnerships work best?
• How to differentiate through a best-in-class Hydrogen initiative?
• The golden rules of Hydrogen - is it time to re-think the H&S rule book?
• What part does marketing play and how to use it effectively?
Networking
If success depends on who you know, this is the place to be:
The Hydrogen Conference – is about learning from one’s peers. It is also about getting to know them, so networking is of primary importance.
A welcome reception on September 16th - the evening before the Conference begins - with entertainment and appetisers – not to mention some wine tasting – will ensure that new contacts can be made and turned into strong business relationships over the course of the Conference and in months and years to come.
During the Conference, you will feel you are in a roomful of colleagues and friends, ready to question, challenge and discuss the leading-edge issues with the speakers and the panel members. Following the conference, you will be able to access presentations from the speakers, the delegate list and a summary of the important issues discussed. This should give you everything you need to raise your knowledge of the Hydrogen sector to the next level.
Adding credibility and reach to the Conference is the support of Engineering Hydrogen Solutions as a media partner and of Hydrogen England, ERA and HyDEX.
This is a conference that shouldn’t be missed!
