Four new courses have been added to this year Also new is the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2007 course. The CDM regulations apply to anyone involved with the design or construction of building projects or structure, failure to comply is a criminal offence and can lead to prosecution. The course provides designers, managers and engineers with knowledge and understanding of the revised CDM regulations and how these affect their work.

The other two courses added to the training schedule focus on water treatment. A course on boiler water treatment provides a practical guide to water treatment operations, chemical dosing and boiler water treatment strategies. The second explores water treatment guidelines, standards and compliance providing delegates with knowledge of the latest guidelines and their impact on boiler utility plant.

There is a great demand for both Spirax Sarco’s in-house and on site training, with courses such as Steam Plant Maintenance reporting a 120 per cent rise in participants this year. The excellent feedback received from delegates is emphasized by the majority of bookings now coming from their referrals.
