Wieland Electric has developed its Multipole Connector Configurator to replace time consuming catalogue searches for those wishing to access the 1500 individual components in the revos range. Wieland's revos is a range of industrial multi-pole connectors which have been designed to provide the installer with a quick and easy solution for the installation of machines and systems.

Simple to use, revos Configurator guides the user through the selection of male and female inserts, hoods and housings, all in technically feasible combinations, making it easy to create application-specific connectors. Search and selection filters are based on technical parameters such as termination technology, pole configuration, current, voltage and conductor size, making incorrect configurations impossible.

The software offers multiple configuration levels with detailed views, plus the ability to configure connectors in the revos FLEX modular hybrid connector system. A special feature of revos FLEX is that the modules can be easily latched in the module frame using directional coding thus saving on any further maintenance work. Furthermore, the modules can be detached easily without having to remove other modules saving time during hybrid solution pre-assembly or during maintenance. revos Configurator also allows the user to choose specific modules and load them into mounting frames, whilst automatically determining the correct frame and housing sizes.
