Regional health and safety event grows with 50% more exhibitors
 
After getting off to a fantastic start at Sandown Park, Esher in February, the second in the Health and Safety One of the main attractions for visitors to the event is the free conference and seminar programme developed in conjunction with key industry organisations such as the Manchester and North West Districts Branch of IOSH. Papers are to be delivered by a raft of industry experts and IOSH members and will cover practical topics such as ‘Protection against burn injury from electric arc’ and ‘Hearing protection – just legal or just right?’, as well as issues like risk management, insurance and the Corporate Manslaughter Act. As well as the impressive range of exhibitors and seminar topics, Principal People’s fire training consultants will be generating some heat outside the exhibition hall during Health and Safety ’08 - North. The team will be demonstrating the use of extinguishers and inviting visitors to bring a blaze under control with hand held extinguishers.
