The Flameproof Section has recently seen a change in management, with Andrew Bellman now responsible for this team. Andrew has worked for the company for over 10 years and brings a new dynamic to the already experienced team. He explains ‘The aim of our guide is to help manufacturers prepare for their Ex d certification projects and to explain the different phases and testing that their products will go through. We also welcome manufacturers to contact us at an early stage so that we can meet to discuss their designs and assist them in their preparations, in order to further reduce their time to certification’.
Andrew concludes ‘Much investment in equipment and people has taken place recently in order to make considerable improvements to Flameproof testing timescales and to ensure that SGS Baseefa’s capacity continues to match our customer’s needs’.

If you would like to receive a copy of the SGS Baseefa Guide to Flameproof, or are interested in discussing any requirements that you may have, please contact Andy Bellman and he will be happy to assist you.
