Safe monitoring of compressed air medical gases

Compact data logger for compressed-air systems

The METPOINT® BDL compact data logger allows for the connection of 2 - 4 transducers or sensors in a user-defined manner. With pressure transducers, for example, or with pressure dew point transmitters, volume-flow sensors, temperature sensors, clip-on ammeters, etc. Four limit values on the whole can be freely defined and assigned to two different alarm relays.

At the device, the measured values are indicated on a 3.5" colour display with a zoomable touch panel. It allows for tabular, graphic, and combined presentations. Saving potentials become transparent via daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Any exceeded limits are highlighted in red. An early detection of deviation from set parameters secures highest precision and process safety.

New 5 year extended warranty on refrigeration dryers from BEKO TECHNOLOGIES

beko jan 15 2BEKO TECHNOLOGIES are pleased to announce that from 1st January 2015 we are offering an extended 5 year warranty as standard with the DRYPOINT RA refrigeration dryers. In addition to this we will not be increasing our prices on the dryers this year.

We believe that our DRYPOINT RA refrigeration dryers are reliable, perform well to different specifications and are easy to maintain via good information from the control system, and also give customers the lowest cost of ownership. They are also environmentally friendly with the R407C refrigerant which has significantly lower GWP ( Global Warming Potential) and are low in energy consumption.

Data logger specifically for compressed-air plants

beko jan 15 1With a data logger which was specifically developed for the employment in compressed-air plants BEKO Technologies extends its METPOINT® measurement equipment family. The new device boasts a multitude of application-specific capabilities, stretching from the number of connectable transducers to software specifically for the analysis of compressed-air processing.

The METPOINT® BDL data logger allows for the connection of up to eight or even 12 transducers or sensors, depending on the model. With this capacity the new device distances itself from standard data loggers which, in most cases, do not allow for such an option.

Sensors combined in a user-defined manner can be assigned to the numerous connections of the METPOINT® BDL. With pressure transducers, for example, or with pressure dew point transmit-ters, volume-flow sensors, temperature sensors, clip-on ammeters, etc. 32 limit values on the whole can be freely defined and assigned to four different alarm relays. An automatic early warning guarantees the utmost precision and process safety. At the device, the measured values are indicated on a 7" colour display with a zoomable touch panel.

BEKOMAT is by far the most successful electronic level controlled condensate series - and that for a good reason. It represents the benchmark for all global competitors. This does not only apply to the reliability. In particular, the sustainability aspects throughout the entire life cycle are world leading:

Design: All wearing parts are housed in a service-unit. The replacement requires only 10% of the time that would be required for a device in which the items would have to be replaced individually. The service-unit is 100% pressure and functionally tested. Effectively, after each service-unit change you have a new unit! This saves personnel resources, reduces downtimes to a minimum and increases reliability.

Even "oil-free" components are no guarantor for "oil-free" compressed air, ambient air/ intake air have a big impact on achieving oil free air.  In most cases, a certain residual oil content cannot be entirely avoided in standard applications.
