TSI doesn’t just observe and react to measurement trends they set them.

A strong safety program depends on good data. Only with correct measurements, can you identify risks, report on them with confidence, and make informed decisions. TSI develops and manufactures accurate and reliable occupational health and safety instruments to measure what’s important in your safety program. (Read More)

Monitor risks such as heat stress, confined space gases, noise, and particulate mass.
Evaluate workplace exposure, including short-term and long-term exposure to dust, particles, or gases.
Build strong respiratory protection programs with quantitative fit testing.
Optimize comfort and productivity with HVAC and industrial ventilation tools and indoor air quality assessments.

Managing Director of Safety Monitors, Alex Graft had this to say about the new partnership:
“At Safety Monitors our goal has been to help eliminate the 2.8 million worldwide premature deaths annually from work.  With unparalleled excellence in detection TSI offers an innovative line of detection instrumentation which complements our existing capabilities in Occupational Health measurement.  Our work should enrich our lives and not cost them and this is a belief held by not only us but our partners and we are very pleased to name TSI as one of them.”

Exposure monitoring equipment from TSI helps you navigate regulatory hurdles and maintain continuous regulatory compliance.  The newest TSI instrument Sidepak AM520i measures worker exposure to respirable dust, silica and Diesel Particulate Matter (DPM), including PM10, PM4 (Respirable), PM2.5, PM1, and 0.8 um DPM. Designed to take measurements from the worker breathing zone, they are the industry’s most versatile, lightweight personal aerosol monitors and for the first time intrinsically safe.

DustTrak™ II and DustTrak™ DRX Aerosol Monitors are battery-operated, data-logging, light-scattering laser photometers that provide real-time mass concentration readings for aerosol contaminants such as dust, smoke, fumes and mist. These instruments use a sheath air system that isolates the aerosol in the optics chamber to keep the optics clean for improved reliability and low maintenance.

TSI’s Quest brand of sound level meters and noise dosimeters provide professionals with comprehensive information on noise sources and employee noise exposure to make informed safety decisions. Lightweight and versatile, Quest products monitor noise and sound levels in a wide variety of working environments, from underground mining to construction to oil and gas to the military.

TSI Quest instruments can also help you protect your workers from exposure to heat stress. Environmental heat stress is measured in terms of heat index (a combination of temperature and humidity) and Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT), which takes into consideration radiant heat sources.

Several instruments can also help you quickly and accurately assess basic IAQ parameters. Indoor air quality measurements which typically include temperature, humidity, draft, particles (PM2.5) and gases such as CO and CO2. Maintaining air quality and comfort levels can significantly improve occupant satisfaction (as shown through increased concentration and productivity) and help reduce absenteeism.

Safety Monitors are a UK based company but also deal extensively across the world.  They are specialists in Safety, Health and Environmental monitoring instrumentation including Gas, Noise, Vibration, Air Quality, Lone Worker and Radon.
